Author Elin Wägner's house from 1923 stands as a reminder of times past. The house is filled with furniture, books, letters, photographs and other memorabilia from Elin Wägner's life. Art exhibitions can been seen during the summer.
It is located in the outskirts of the village Berg, 3 miles north of Växjö. There, she had her "Småland-cottage" built, designed bu architect Carl Bergsten. The house was first used as a summer house, but in 1929 it became her permanent living area, since she was often traveling, working for peace, women's suffrage and the environment.
