Address: Slottsallén, 35196 Växjö
The medieval fairy tale castle of Teleborg is located south of the city center by Lake Trummen. It was built in 1900 as a wedding gift for Anna Koskull, upon her marriage to Count Fredrik Bonde af Björnö. Today the castle is hotel and meeting place.
The castle was modelled on a German middle age castle. After the couple passed away, it was used as a school for young girls and later on as castle accomodation. In the 1950's a relative to Fredrik Bonde used it as a summer house and 1964 he sold it to Växjö city. Today the castle is hotel and can also be rented for concerts, representation, confereces and weddings.
